Somesville is a picturesque little village located at the northern end of Somes Sound in Mount Desert, Maine. The arched white wooden foot bridge is one of the most recognized and photographed manmade structures on Mount Desert Island. The little white building is the historic Selectmen’s Building, circa 1780. The neat thing about this site is the amazing reflection that makes you almost be able to turn the picture upside down and get the same image.
